In this article we take an in-depth look at the early years spent as a student in a military school, followed by her path-breaking career in journalism. She has gone on to achieve international success as both a writer and television presenter, however her most impressive feat has been to play both the love interest and profession of a young woman in a highly acclaimed action/adventure TV show, 24. This role was created by executive producers Robert Downey Jr and Wyck Godfrey and featured Vera Bradley, who played the traditional ‘good girl’ role. In this article we take an insight into what is required in order for a girl to fulfill this role.

The first trait that a young woman must possess is commitment to her chosen profession. As young girls grow up, they will most likely be placed in a role of either caring for or working for a parent or carer. Being committed to your passion will ensure that you are able to go through the difficult times and still succeed in achieving your goals.

The second trait that a successful woman must possess is confidence. This is a trait that many men lack in regards to their abilities, as a result it will take some time for a man to come to terms with his capabilities, whether this be intellectual or physical. This sense of self-awareness is key to surviving in a society that can be very cruel to women. The third trait needed by any woman in order to shine is patience. Not everyone will excel at something at the same pace as you and this can be extremely frustrating, however by keeping your head about water and refusing to give up will eventually pay off.
