When discussing Nationality, Tatum is very careful to point out that he has only been partnered with white women in his five years of business ownership. Of the twenty partners with whom he has worked, only three of them are exclusively of non-Western nationalities. This, he says, is proof of how greatly his clients have diversified themselves over the years. He maintains that being a business owner who believes in all ethnicities will help him bring his partners into an appreciation for the differences between races and ethnicities, thus ending up with more customers from all backgrounds.

According to Tiffany Tatum, having an open mind towards differences is key to building long-lasting relationships. He and his partners have discussed the possibility of accommodating various nationalities when creating opportunities for their businesses. This will allow them to provide jobs to people outside of their own nationalities, giving them even more diversity on their staff. They also believe that by being honest and fully transparent in their nationalities, they can attract new partners who share similar values.

Tiffany Tatum stresses the importance of choosing partners of similar values and attitudes. “You want your partners to fit in,” he said. “Partners who are exactly the same height and have the same professional goals will make your business succeed. It doesn’t matter if you have white, black, Asian, or other – if you are willing to be open-minded, then diversity results.” As a result of considering all nationalities and their differences, Tiffany Tatum believes that his company is better served by hiring partners with whom it is possible to gel.
