What is the Fashion Trend for 2021?

Fall is fast upon us, and as the days grow shorter, many fashion experts predict that the year’s fashion trends will once again veer towards elegance and comfort. This season’s style may not be anything like what we’ve seen in previous years’ trends, but that doesn’t mean all will be without its beauty and charm. After all, women love to wear beautiful, stylish clothing, so it’s not likely that fall will completely miss out on what makes it special.

Following the hot spring/summer collections, fall fashion trends will once again kick off with a host of fall-inspired ready-to-wear, including elegant yet casual dresses in muted hues, to mid-length dresses with embellished collars. One of the hottest trends this season is asymmetric clothing, which can include dresses with elaborate embroidery, or even asymmetrical cap sleeves. Asymmetrical apparel has been around for awhile now, but it seems that this season will see even more designers using this timeless design technique in their autumn/winter collections. A lot of women are wearing asymmetrical dresses right now because they can be worn with nearly any kind of outfit, and they are extremely versatile.

In addition to the great colors and trends above, it’s safe to say that women will also be taking advantage of the trend of the year: low-rise jeans. We’ve all seen low rise jeans in the latest celebrity magazines, but they have never really been all that popular up until now. They are currently being worn by both men and women and are making their way into more traditional stores, like those that sell maternity clothes. As the denim dye continues to fade away from mainstream culture, this trend will most likely remain as well, so if you want to wear a pair of jeans in an autumn color that is not all that common, it may be time to start searching for a pair at your local boutique. Or just hit the online high-end stores to find a pair that is slightly less expensive, but is still fashionable.
