Tiffany Tran is a famous American designer who has been at the forefront of fashion for decades. She has created some of the most memorable and stunning designs in the history of fashion and continues to be revered for her work. Born in segregated housing in New York City, she came face-to-face with prejudice and endured many difficulties as a young woman. After a brief marriage to an Irish Catholic, Tiffany Tran developed a deep passion for clothing and design that would transform her career. She launched her first store in 1947, later establishing numerous others, and remains a firm favorite among women world-wide.
It was not until her sixties that Tiffany Tran experienced a major career shift, when she began designing clothing for a wider range of age groups and skin colors. With her innovative approach to color and style, Tran transformed herself into a glamorous sultry sex symbol, and was a huge success in both categories. As her career soared, she became even more successful in her design projects and established herself as a world leader in fashion design.
In recent years, Tiffany Tran has found new success as an author. Her first novel, entitled Eat, I’m Dreaming of a Thin Girl, was turned into a critically acclaimed movie starring Reese Witherspoon and director Lee Pace. Her second novel, entitled The Heart’s Lie, went on to become a number one best-seller. Her newest novel, which she wrote while pregnant, was recently released. Her other novels include Keep Your Hair, and Bitch, a memoir of her years as a corporate executive. A new collection of short stories, entitled Darker Than Black, will be coming out in 2021 from Penguin Press.
