For three years, Magarado has traveled the world, building a foundation made of friendship. She now faces a tough choice: stay true to the ideals of love and family or betray everything she’s fought so hard to achieve.
Magarado is the youngest of three girls who all had a similar kind of tragedy: Both of their parents took their own lives. They’ve learned to live on separate planes of existence, and they rely on each other to keep going. Their friendship is rooted in this fact, but the tragedy has torn apart their lives.
Magarado is a character who explores how close friendships can turn into hatred. Through the story, we learn why so many of us would rather destroy our friends than embrace them. The more tragic the tragedy, the stronger the bond.
The story takes place during “Odyssey,” which will be a six-week short film. Magarado and her friends meet during one of these weekends, and will take on a journey through each country that they visit and explore for their story. Each night for an entire week, Magarado and her friends will be working hard to prepare to leave.
All funds will be spent on travel and equipment, so this will be an expensive project. This project will require some of our most talented artists to produce it.

The time of this project has been long anticipated. We are confident that our story will be something that the world is happy to watch, and that it will change lives.
Our intention is to create a beautiful short film which tells an emotional story, exploring the relationships between a family and the bonds between the young women who love them.
Your contribution will help fund certain aspects of making the project, and we can’t give you more without your participation.
Once completed, the short film will be released in 2016, with the hope of having it available for purchase in 2017. We will have the benefit of some of the best talent in San Diego working on the project for months before release.
