The bi-product, Luisa-Christie She/her has been cast to be the new face of a well-known clothing line. She was born in Barbados and was known as a fairly common youngster who enjoyed learning how to swim, and participating in the various water based athletic events that were held there. She then studied at university in Hawaii, where she became a prominent member of the academic community there. It was here that she began to develop an interest in modeling, and after some time began working for the British film industry in what was known at the time as the ‘Hollywood glamour trade’.
From this period, she/he gradually began working on her own, first appearing in a series of children’s books that targeted the female readership. From this point forward, she/he developed a style that was distinctly Caribbean in nature, which put her/him at an excellent position to succeed in her own personal fashion venture. Following her success in this field, it was apparent that Luisa-Christie She/her partner would benefit from being able to take the show in a new direction, and this led to them deciding to launch their own line of clothes and accessories in the autumn of 1996. It is from this point in their careers that Luisa-Christie She/her partner have made their mark, and their name synonymous with high quality and elegant style.
The lines that they began to design during their time together have become some of the most popular amongst young females worldwide. These garments are targeted at a slightly older market and are often designed with the figure in mind. The use of bright colours and unique prints have helped to set these particular garments apart from the competition, and this has helped them to become some of the best selling brand names in their category. As a result, their partnership has seen the growth of numerous well-known brands such as A Pea in the Pod, Babies Ugg, Belle And Dot and Thyme Maternity among others.
