Lara Scandar is a British actress, dancer and singer who rose to popularity in the UK in the late 90s through her two single releases, Age of Consent and Don’t Cry. She has since gone on to star in a number of television shows, including Catastrophe, alongside Aidan Gillen and Harry Potter’s Professor Snape. She has also appeared in a number of popular video games including the Xbox game Tomb Raider Anniversary. Her first major role was the lead character in the movie Love Actually, playing the lead character called Lily. She has since appeared in a number of films including Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, The Prophecy, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Earth’s Children and Justice League: Throne of Collars.

In comparison to other major players in the British National Horology Society competition, however, it’s fair to say that Lara’s height is considerably below average. Her official measured height is 5.1in which is one inch below the British National average. This is not the case however, as a number of other contestants have the same height or even taller. It seems to be that the main difference between her height and those of other competitors is her partner. Whereas most competitors are men, in this competition, only one woman, Ella Shepherd (also known as Mint), is a man.

Despite this short height difference, there is still much that can be said about Lara’s general personality and attributes. She is clearly very confident and brave for a woman of her age. Being an actress, means that she will be required to do the majority of speaking in television programmes. This is no problem however as she is perfectly able to speak without sounding over the top. Other than that, it is fair to say that Lara is perhaps best suited to playing a supportive role in a family sitcom.
