Casey Budd is another one of those American Idol contestants that really doesn’t live up to their billing. Although Casey has the proper height for modeling, people seem to think she is much shorter than her real self. She has a very tiny frame and wears clothing that really don’t flatter her frame at all. It is well known that heights require a certain amount of height and body frame to really look good, but with Casey’s petite physique, she ends up looking smaller than what her talent truly is. I think it is her nationality that really makes her lose some respect. With that being said, her looks are no where near as pleasing as her singing.
It is understandable that reality TV shows don’t have an actual gauge of an individual’s true height because their height would be impossible to determine by simply standing up. No matter how tall you are there will always be a few inches between your ears and the top of your head. That being said, in most cases if you are standing upright, there should be at least 3 inches between you and the top of your head. So with that being said, it is totally fair to say that Casey Budd does not measure up, nor should she.
Let’s look at some other examples of where she fails the reality show standards. In the first competition she competed she did not have any clothes on and was a very skinny contestant. Her hair was immaculately done and even had ribbons tied in it like any beauty pageant winner. It seems that anyone with even the slightest amount of physical talent could have easily won this competition, but she ended up as the runner up. She was eliminated after the first round. Is it because her hair wasn’t good enough or was she chosen for something different than her looks?
