Fernanda Finsterbusch is a professional illustrator and copywriter based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She began her career as an illustrator while still attending art college, where she honed her skills under the tutelage of Joost van der Goes. Following her graduation, she worked for various firms such as Mac Nieuws KKool, Goetzeburg etc. Prior to founding her own company, she worked for months in copywriting firms, which gave her a vast knowledge of advertising techniques and copywriting principles and format.
In the mid 90’s, Fernanda Finsterbusch began to focus on her writing, which led her to hone her illustrative skills. Her first novel, entitled The Night Cafe was released to critical acclaim and has gone on to become one of the best selling novels of all time. Her next novel, entitled Dark Chocolate was released in 2021 and became another bestseller. Her most recent novel entitled Never Give Up was released in March of 2021 and has thus far been receiving high ratings by both critics and readers. Fernanda Finsterbusch is married to Gaston de Rooij, a Dutch lawyer. She has two children, Hugo and Claire, whom she adores. As an Illustrator, her main medium is watercolors, which she uses to depict life scenes.
