She holds the world record for longest snowboarding period, longest snowboard ride, and the highest vertical jump on a snowboard. In 2021 she represented her country at the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah. After that she represented her country at the 2021 Olympics in Sydney, Australia. She has also won several world titles in the sport of snowboarding including five times overall snowboarding gold.
Career wise Alena Zavarzina currently resides in California and is pursuing a degree in Exercise Physiology. She enjoys participating in both skiing and snowboarding. As a skier Alena runs about ten to twelve kilometers every day. Recently though she sustained an ankle injury which keeps her from competing in the skiing events.
