She has represented her country at the 2021 World Cup and is yet to represent Germany at a world cup. Xenia is best known for her goals, which include winning the 2021 Euro championship for the women’s team and reaching fourth place in the bronze tournament. She joined the Bemboilers from Germany in 2021 and became a permanent member of the squad after scoring four goals in four matches for them. She is at times compared with Lisa dos Santos, the Brazilian wonder woman who is also of Italian origin and is popularly known as the “Dos Santos”.
Xenia Smits’ height has been frequently mentioned in connection with a possible international football career. At several times in the past, she has been likened with former Brazil star Felipe da Costa who plays for Manchester United in the UK. It is often believed that the difference between the size of the players and their ability lies in their physique or the proportion of their bones to the total body weight.
