Juliana Gebrim is the manager of a publishing house that publishes conservative publications. She has been at the company for fifteen years. Prior to this she worked as an assistant professor at the conservative University of Reading. During her time there she also wrote for a variety of other publications on politics and women’s issues. While at the university she made sure that the company had the lowest employee turnover rate of any university in England. This enabled them to have a high retention rate of highly qualified employees.

While serving at the publishing house she developed a strong interest in immigration and nationality. In 2021 she co-founded the organization called Just Immigration which is dedicated to promoting awareness of immigration and the issues that surround it. Her main focus however is the role that race and nationality play in the immigration process. As a woman who has British citizenship by birth and Spanish nationality by marriage she emphasizes that having one nationality does not entitle one to automatically be granted immigration status.

Juliana has a PhD from the University of Reading. Her dissertation dealt with the impact that immigration laws have on ethnic and religious identity in Britain. In this study she looked at how changing the law relating to nationality can reduce discrimination against ethnic minorities. According to Gebrim if the UK government wants to promote unity in Britain it must take into consideration the differences in ethnicity and religious beliefs among different cultures.
