Cowboy boots used to be an exclusively men’s wear but with the passing years, more women are now getting interested in wearing them too. The biggest difference between men’s and women’s cowboy boots is definitely more obvious when comparing both the heel shaft, vamp and toe design, style, color and fit. These various parts and features all of the different differences from each other in terms of size, height, look and feel.

In terms of the size and height, the difference is actually quite big. Men’s cowboy boots generally have a mid calf height, while women’s are a bit higher at the ankle. The height difference can be seen quite clearly if you take a look at them closely, as the men tend to be with high-heeled shoes while women are usually wearing mid calf high or even mid calf low cowboy boots. On the other hand, the width of the shoes is also quite different.

While women’s are further divided into three basic toe shapes namely; pointed, box and round. All these shapes have their own unique designs and they come in varied sizes, heights and prices. For instance, pointed and box toe cowboy boots tend to be a bit taller than others.
