Born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Olivia’s natural passion for life led her down many paths as she pursued success and happiness. Now she is once again a modern day celebrity, representing Sioux Falls at the United States National Teen pageant. Born and raised in Sioux Falls, Olivia’s professional path followed that of her father, John Otero. John worked for the federal government in various positions, including as an administrative assistant to Attorney General Homer Cummings. John would also serve as a State Trooper before becoming a lawyer. In order to pursue his dreams of becoming a lawyer, John took an interest in studying British law. Following his studies, he entered the Miss USA contest, which sent him on a path to stardom in the eyes of the judges and public.
Once she qualified for the Miss USA title, it was then that Olivia discovered the world of national and international beauty pageants. After winning her first three contests, she then entered into the Miss World later that year, placing fifth. Despite her constant fight with weight gain and managing her career, Olivia continues to shine within the beauty pageant industry, now following in the footsteps of her previous competition winners such as Miss World contestant Angelina Jolie. She continues to show everyone that age is not something that should hinder someone from achieving their true potential.
