One of the hottest faces of the international fashion scene today is Paola Bernal. She has carved out a niche for herself as one of the top stylists in today’s fashion industry, and this is not without reason. If you have a look at her portfolio, you will find that her style is bold, modern, and unique. In this article we take a look at how she has gone about using her natural looks to create the perfectly styled men’s wear from the likes of Dior and Gucci, with a nod to being both bold and original in her own right.
Growing up in the rural north of Paola Bernal’s native Uruguay, she was always surrounded by the Brazilian influence upon her daily life. She soon developed a deep attachment to the nation and would go on to describe how deeply she connected with the people of Brazil even when she was grown. The young Paola then went on to study art at the University of Campinas in Uruguay before graduating in history in 2021. It was here that she came across a love of the European culture, and it was this connection that led to her developing a strong interest in wearing European clothes as an adult. In the years that followed, her love for the European fashion scene would continue to help her to hone and develop her own signature style, with her eye for detail often getting her into trouble with the police, as well as causing her many altercations with her ex-boyfriend’s back home.
So what has Paola Bernal’s career been like since she graduated? Well, her most famous role was in the movie, Invictus, where she played a Bond girl (in one of the few films in which a Bond girl has a love interest). However it was also later in her career that she would be cast as a leading character in another of Daniel Craig’s Bond movies, Casino Royale. She went on to play the villainous Madame Fate in Quantum of Solace, and then was again in the lead role in the acclaimed sequel to Casino Royale – Quantum of Solace. However, it was her appearance in the last Bond film of his career, Diamonds Are Forever, which really cemented her place in the hearts of Bond fans all over the world.
