Francesca Simons is an Italian fashion designer and the founder of the brand Baci, which has gone on to become one of the most popular and sought after brands in Italy. Ms Simons actually began her career as a model whilst at college, but after that failed to gain entry into any of the top design schools, she decided to take a different path altogether, and began working as a consultant with a manufacturer of commercial swimwear, before moving on to start her own company. The Baci brand, which she started with her husband, ended up being very successful, and her reputation grew quickly, even though she only designed it for men. She also has other lines of clothing that are aimed specifically at women, including maternity wear, sportswear and perfume.
Francesca Simons works with many different professions, all of which are linked to her height. In the past, she has featured in a number of different campaigns, some of which have been successful, but often not enough to make a name for themselves independently. These campaigns have usually centered on images or photographs that feature her height, along with the different factors associated with being tall. For example, one of the campaigns she did for swimwear was aimed at showing the difference between men and women who have a high or low figure, showing the fact that men can be much shorter than women, while still being considered to be a large figure.
Francesca Simons has successfully used her height to launch her career, and she has already branched out into different areas of the fashion industry, although she continues to work with different designers from her former profession. It seems to be difficult to pin down one single attribute that makes someone ‘stand out’ from the crowd, and many people attribute Francesca Simons great success simply to her ability to think creatively about clothing. Age is just a part of life in any profession, and as people get older, height will always be a consideration, but it is important to remember that everyone is different, even if they have all the same hobbies and interests.
