Lisa Evans is a Scottish international professional soccer player who plays for Arsenal in the FA Women’s Premier League, the second-level for women’s soccer in England. She is currently on loan from Arsenal until the end of the season. Born in Fort William, Lisa grew up as a youngster in her family’s home town of Duncraig in Ayrshire, Scotland where her father played for the local football club, before he moved to London and became a professional soccer player for Arsenal. Since making her debut for the Gunners in 2004, Lisa has gone on to play for Scotland, Northern Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland again.
Being tall, Lisa is in a good place to talk about her height as it shows that her sport certainly gives her a helping posture when trying to make the tackles or head kicks. In fact, being listed as 6ft 4in and using the size six instead of the standard size 4, may even give her an advantage because she could comfortably reach goals during her years at college.
