Olivia Pellerin is an actress with nationality in both France and Italy. She has appeared in Italian movies “L’Avventura” and “Titanic”, which were later made into an award winning film, whereas her most recent film “A locust for the Gods” was directed by Clint Eastwood. Pellerin is thirty-eight years old and has been married to Mathieu Piccard since 1987. She has two children, Leopold and Viacheslav, whom she had from a previous relationship. Her professional life is focused on appearances on stage, TV and film, and her personal life is far from domestic.

Pellerin’s real passion lies in her acting, and she has adopted the French expression “je ne sais quoi”. She is known for playing strong characters, sometimes dangerous and sometimes sensitive, but always strong-willed and full of courage. Her strengths are her eyes, her legs, her cleverness, and to a lesser degree, her wit. She is not the sort of woman who think very much about what people think of her, and her personality does not allow her to be affected by how people react to her looks, or the weight of her accent, for that matter.

Pellerin’s first major role was “A locust for the Gods”, as a member of the chorus in the play “Les Troyens, et le diable seule”. As the chorus girl, Pellerin displayed her abilities as a singer and a dancer, and finally managed to bring all these talents together to form a very important character. In this role, she plays the role of a young woman, who forges her own path in life and eventually achieves a great fame and success. Her beauty is unquestionable, but her intelligence and her determination to achieve what she wants are very important qualities and are what make her most admired by the theatre world, for the fact that they underline what theatre is about: making the audience experience emotions. The combination of those qualities, and the manner in which she sings and dances her songs are what make her a great talent.
