Wenjing Chongqing, Shanghai, China, 4:25 PM] Bizarre. They are not really China, they are China’s imperial territory. [15:15] They have no culture other than how to rule over other countries. [15:22] And what is the difference? [15:23] It’s not as if they have a population that is culturally different than China’s. [15:25] Not really. [15:31] They also have the same economic structure. [15:37] [The Daoists are] not a big movement. They’re basically a state religion created when China had nothing better to offer in the way of economic development. [15:37] It’s a religion that has to do with the state and how they handle people. [15:40] That’s the reason China’s political economy in the modern era is very different than the way it was in the medieval era. [15:45] [These are] not ideologies invented by the Daoists. Their political system is their political system. [15:49] [They] have the same language. [15:53] Their political ideology is identical. [15:55] [They] have a version of what is written in [the] Dao Dao, and in one way or the other, this religion [the worship of the Dao], the cults, have all their own little traditions. [16:01] So that’s the big difference. [16:05] I’m trying to imagine how many people they have. [16:10] Is it 10 million or 60 Million? [16:17] Probably more like 10 or 40 million. [16:19] Their military has been around for hundreds of years [16:21] So it’s not a secret army. But we’re being told that it’s 5 million. [16:23] What does that really mean? These people have a system and their army, the army [16:26] protects it, and the people are free to do whatever they want. [16:30] Why? [16:33] Because the army takes care of everything, the army is a bunch of middlemen. [16:37] The army isn’t any more like a bunch of middlemen in those regions that [16:41] exist in Western history because we have modern weapons. [16:44]
