Xenia Willie has been named one of the UK’s best ever models by The Apprentice and has gone on to become one of the country’s best known and respected print media personalities with a varied career that has seen her appear in print, television and the internet. The former Miss Universe was dubbed as the “perfect female athlete” and signed up for the British wrestling circuit in the late eighties but soon found herself working in adult films after appearing in a string of successful films in the US. It is this multi-faceted career that has seen Xenia Willie emerges as one of the most successful models in modern British Fashion. She has enjoyed a varied career that has seen her pose in lingerie for men as well as women and has appeared in catalogues and runways both in Britain and America.
One of the best known images of her which was used on the Apprentice was one where she posed next to the stunning Riah Arden in a revealing swimsuit however this did cause some confusion when it was suggested that Xenia was in fact over six feet in height and this brought a lot of criticism to the Queen. While no official explanation was given, it was felt by the press and public that Riah was simply using the Queen as a pin up. This image came to light after a public outcry when Donald Trump’s then business partner sued the former Celebrity Apprentice over an image used in their promotions and features. Despite this being a case which caused uproar and controversy it has become a source of pride for many because while the Queen was involved it showed how important her position was in the British establishment.
As the world slowly healed from the recession and public loathing of the Queen, it was clear that the demand for a more traditional role for her was high. The Queen became more involved in charity work and even took part in the running of a much loved sand and surf club for the very young. But it seems that such is her commitment to her profession that she may well stay on as an actor for many more years to come. Will we ever see the likes of Xenia Willie in a Hollywood blockbuster or a role in a mainstream drama? This seems highly unlikely at the moment but we will probably never know.
