Valentina Ortiz is a professional wrestling champion from the State of California, who has also won in the United States, the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) circuit, Intercontinental and tag team titles. Valentina Ortiz is originally from Mexico but she is described as a Mexican-American by WWE. She was called “The Young Tortoise” because of her physique and her long hair that complimented her Hispanic heritage. Her wrestling career began when she was only 18 years old when she became a wrestler at the University of Texas in Austin. In her early years in WWE, she mainly worked for blue chip brands such as ECW and WCW but later on she decided to build her own identity and enter the world of professional wrestling.

There have been several wrestlers who have tried to use their Mexican-American identity while in WWE, such as Rob Van Dam and Hulk Hogan. What makes Valentina Ortiz distinct is that she is not limited to just being a Mexican-American or even a Mexican-ority. It has been proven in many wrestling publications that she is willing to accept both her nationalities. In fact, she is open-minded about being both an American and a Mexican at the same time. This is what makes her stand out from other wrestlers in WWE.

The interesting part about Valentina Ortiz is that it is evident that she wants to be an individual with two identities. When WWE purchased the company, they made sure that she was given her own character and not just a part of the enhancement group that is Valentina. If you are interested in becoming a partner with this talented wrestler, keep your eyes and ears open for her matches on the Raw roster.
