Valentina Vee is a professional model from Canada that has been married to her husband for 18 years. In her early days as a model she appeared in ad campaigns in both English and Canadian and managed to garner attention both ways, but when it came to actually dating people she struggled to find people of the same nationality or age so she solely dated men of the same nationality or age. This led to a variety of different opinions on her height and whether or not she was too short or too tall for her job.
Valentina Vee has maintained a relationship with her husband throughout their time as models and when they decided to get married in 2021 it was then that they decided to do something different in their lives. They knew that although they were dating Valentina Vee was still a woman and therefore not considered as one who could be categorized as ‘a real woman’. Over the past several months they have gone out on dates and been photographed together. Their engagement brought a new challenge to the relationship as it is common for models to ask their male partner if they can take off certain areas of their bodies so they are less defined during these dating moments. Despite this change in their appearance Vee has still managed to maintain her own views on her height and how she feels she fits into her role as a model and actress. Her views on the matter however do not conform with the views of either her husband or model agency.
Vee was candid in an interview with a Canadian Magazine saying “he (her husband) really likes the fact that I’m taller than me but he’s still not sure if it’s going to have any impact on my career. He also wonders how someone so short can do four hours of television a day. “I think people have their own ideas of what an actress should look like, what kind of an actress should look like, and what kind of an actress should act. It really depends on what you like and how you want to define yourself”.
