Umar Alvarado, and that the “vulgarity” of Trump’s statement “has been seen coming from him before”.
“Trump has always been very vulgar,” Alvarado wrote, adding a hashtag that translates as #HijackTheWhiteHouse. “I would take the place of Obama if he were elected because he is too vulgar for this administration.”
Trump has been a frequent target of criticism from the left for calling Mexicans rapists, among other controversial statements.
His supporters have applauded his attacks, though some of them have attacked his opponents for “being mean”.
The Republican party’s top three leaders have all condemned Trump’s remarks, with Ryan, Ryan, McConnell and Cruz in particular condemning them.
Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski has been suspended for the remainder of the primary race. The campaign also fired a top security adviser, Paul Manafort, after a bombshell CNN report showed that the GOP strategist accepted $12.7m in cash, real estate and consulting opportunities in an Ukraine-linked consulting firm controlled by Russia’s richest man, Oleg Deripaska.
In the latest twist, Trump’s newly appointed campaign manager Kellyanne Conway, who worked as media adviser for his campaign against Clinton in the last period of the campaign, has also been put in charge of domestic and foreign policy.
