Trends in Fashion Prints For Men and Women
Fashion designers have recently been experimenting with bold fashion prints in both women’s and men’s clothing. In the lead-up to next summer’s fashion week, fashion-forward ladies have been seen wearing bold, monochrome fabrics and prints, indicative of a trend toward more fun, vibrant ensembles and away from the traditional, more conservative outfits. Fashion designers such as Christopher Kane, Tom Ford, John Galliano and Jean Paul Gaultier have all recently released new and interesting fashion lines that feature bold fashion prints in their clothing line, which has seen a significant amount of popularity this season. The most popular fashion prints so far this season have been stripes, blocks, florals, neon and animal prints, among others. It is also a great time for bold fashion accessories and handbags with a wide variety of different styles and textures to choose from.
In men’s fashion, floral prints remain an exciting and current trend, having been featured in the best-selling Spring/Summer collections by well-known designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Christian Dior. This trend is said to be reminiscent of the 60s and has been further bolstered by the inclusion of bright greens and blues and even brighter shades of red and orange. Floral designs are usually seen on T-Shirts, Hoodies and Sweaters and this season is no exception with bright, vibrantly colored sweaters, cardigans and jeans all being designed with floral patterns and prints. T-Shirts and sweatshirts are also seeing more floral elements being added to the interior and exterior design.
For women, floral prints are making a comeback with a renewed interest in vintage and alternative fashion styles and colors. Floral prints are seen on dresses, cardigans, skirts, leggings and tops, and have been especially popular in formal fashion for the last few seasons. With feminine prints, like flowers, crocheted earrings and handmade jewelry, more women are choosing clothes and accessories with personal style over what may be considered “mainstream”. In the next few years, bolder fashion trends are expected for women, such as animal print styles and colors, including leopard, zebra and tiger. These animal print styles and colors are not expecting to go away any time soon.
