Top Looks For Spring 2021
Rule breaker, game-changer, and a truly original woman with almost no age restrictions, Abigail Ahern is quickly becoming famous for her daring, inky-hue, ultra refined style. While many may associate the term “streetwise” with older, whiter, greying beauties, Abigail’s approach to fashion is decidedly modern. With an impeccable sense of timing and an uncanny ability to accessorize in a tasteful manner, Abigail’s clothes are anything but old-fashioned. She’s not out to revolutionize fashion or make fashion mandatory, but to make it chic and accessible to all.
In her latest collection for Baby Phat, Abigail Ahern plays around with different elements of glam, as she twirls her silk and satin tops, layered, faux flowers on the side, and drapes on the side of her figure hugging shorts. She’s definitely played around with color, but more importantly she’s played around with different elements of design, which she appropriately paired with vintage accessories to create a unique look that’s edgy, fun and exciting, yet effortlessly sophisticated at the same time. When playing around with colors Abigail Ahern decided on, the colors she chose were more bold than usual, particularly towards the end of the season when she was dressed in black, but also incorporated pastel colors like pinks and blues.
Inky blue: The color in Ahern’s wardrobe is very inky blue, from her swimwear to her sunglasses. Inky blues exude a feeling of sophistication, but don’t draw attention away from her assets, as in the case of her low-cut blouses. Instead, they play tricks on the eye, drawing attention in subtle ways and making the most of subtle details to bring a sense of depth to her wardrobe. To complete inky blues, look for Ahern’s peep toe shoes, offset by her fitted cardigans and vintage knitwear.
