Timberland boots have always been a fashion trend which has been accepted enthusiastically by young men as work wear and fashion necessity. The world at large has accepted them for being high on style and utility as well. These boots are available in different colours like black, brown, chestnut etc. and are highly durable and hard wearing as they are resistant to water, flame and scratching. Moreover, they are extremely comfortable as well. They do not only look fashionable but also protect your feet adequately.

However, with passage of time, it becomes necessary to maintain these boots and especially the tight-fitting leather boots that are made of suede as they can get dirty very easily. Here are some tips for maintaining your Timberland boots: While you are purchasing any boot make sure you know the type of shoe, be it sandals, dress shoes, work shoes or boots you want to buy. If you are buying a work boot, it is advisable to go for the leather kind because suede ones can get damaged very easily if not maintained properly. Keep in mind that you should clean the boots gently and regularly or else; the dirt and debris will accumulate inside the boot and it will make it untidy.

While you are cleaning the timberland boots, you should first ensure that you have gathered all the debris and dirt inside the boot without taking them out. If you do not collect the debris then it may result in stain. You can take baking soda or other cleansing agents and soak it in water. When you are ready with the cleaning solution, pour a little of cleaning agent on the boot and then let it dry for few minutes so that the cleaning agent gets absorbed in the boot completely.
