Tiffany Cromwell, also known as Tiffany Cote, is an Australian road cyclist, who nowadays also rides for Giant-Shimano in the Pro Category for women’s road cycling. In July 2021 she has been announced as a member of the Canyon-SRAM team’s first ever team for the new season. This is the same company that introduced the world to Taylor Phippen and her silver medal at the Olympics in 2021. In addition to this, she has been a regular contributor to the Giant-Shimano website since 2021, contributing articles regarding the team and also helping out with news and features on the website.
The first season for Giant Shimano women’s team brought some good news for its foundation, namely the signing of former Giant-Shimano team leader, Sarah antidotes. After the signing of its first cyclo player, Mattiello, last season, Giant-Shimano managed to improve its results even more, adding new teams such as Trek Bora and Cama, both of which have strong teams and good riders in their ranks. Also joining them were some new faces: Yama Figueroa, who have previously raced for Lampre-Cannondale, and Bonaert Vuitton Cannondale, both of whom impressed at the Tour de France, putting an impressive fight into the pro peloton. Unfortunately, Tiffany Cromwell lost out on the Tour de France, the most prestigious Tour de France with a history that dates back over three centuries. Despite this, she has already made a good start for Giant-Shimano, winning the team stage at the Doha International cycle event and placing second in the overall standings behind podium finisher, Valerio Pojova.
The Italian cyclist also joined Giant-Shimano as a support rider, having been given permission by the team to race under its colors. Last season Cromwell rode for Lampre, but in this new role she has made a good impression. This is thanks to the fact that Giant-Shimano has invested a lot of money in improving its training facilities and in bringing in experienced riders from other teams, so that the Italian national cycling team is now better equipped to support its partners. In this way, Giant-Shimano is able to ensure that its support riders are always fit and strong. Its efforts have also increased the level of professionalism that its other partners maintain.
