Valentina Harper has been a professional illustrator since she was young. She went to art school but did not pursue it because she felt it did not offer scope for creativity. She pursued illustration instead, building up a portfolio which led to getting jobs from magazines and publishing houses alike. After some time she felt the demand for full-color tattoos and set out to design and develop her own style of tattoos, which are still popular today.
Valentina Harper was born in Southern France, the daughter of parents who were French. Her Nationality was Italian, however her birth certificate does not bear that fact. Her nationality is simply Italy. She was not, however, a very good student and dropped out of high school after only one year. Her brief time of adulthood was marred by a spell of typhoid which nearly killed her.
Later in life she married and had children. Her husband died of lung cancer in 2021 at the age of 33. Her love of dogs led her to start an animal designing business in her home. It was not an especially large business but grew into a successful business that she ran alone. Valentina Harper was the official stylist of the Dogs of the Leisure Collection, a line of canine t-shirts, jewelry, and clothing designed by her partner. After her husband’s death she pursued her own career, becoming a freelance illustrator and tattoo artist.
