The Angelica Vice is a fictional character that appeared in an American comic book series published by DC comics. The character was created as a result of an interaction between Wonder Woman and the Amazonian demon Amazon. Amazon was about to conquer the human race when Wonder Woman used her magic ring to trap Amazon in an isolated area. Wonder Woman uses her knowledge of magic to telepathically communicate with the captive Amazon and later persuade her to join the Amazonians in their battle against the Monstermen.
In the second series of the comic, the Amazonians escape from the Amazon only to be hunted by the evil Doctor Fate. He intends to use the Amazonians against humans, but he doesn’t have enough time to use his plan. He orders his henchman to attack the Amazonians, but a mysterious warrior named Pax finds out about the plan and fights them off. The warrior then rescues the Amazonians and they take refuge in the mystical Amazon forest. The Amazonians, now renamed the Angelica, live there with no contact with the outside world for many years.
When the hero, Captain James Hook returns to steal the Amazon’s cache of gold and other treasures, the Amazonians become suspicious of their new intruders. As the adventure continues in the third installment of the comic, the identity of the captivating character is finally revealed. While serving as a spy for the British secret service, James Hook discovers that the Amazonians have been plotting against the British for several years. The spy’s interference causes the war between the two countries, which is fought in 1812 during the American Civil War.
