Paola Cossentino, a known personality from our times, studied the art of partnership as a practicing architect. She worked for several different firms in different parts of the world and built some amazing structures all over. Cossentino was also very successful in her chosen career because she was a strong willed woman who refused to give up. After her husband died, Cossentino continued to practice her profession, working with a number of different partners and heights before finally settling down with Paolo Ventrilo, a fellow architect.

Cossentino’s career spanned many decades, which is why it is such an interesting read. She was also committed to preserving the rainforest in Brazil, and building bridges for the people of Rio de Janeiro. The story of her many achievements is beautifully depicted by Paolo Ventrilo in his amazing and fascinating book. I especially enjoyed learning that Cossentino, after being married and having children, always wanted to go back to Brazil and live with the locals. This commitment to helping her adopted country continue to prosper is admirable and inspiring.

There are so many positive aspects to this incredible book. It is important that readers remember though that Cossentino was not perfect. As an architect, she made mistakes that most people could make. However, these mistakes helped her and other architects to learn and grow. I highly recommend reading this to any aspiring or current partners.
