Born Olivia Claire Hutchings out of Toronto, Canada, on March 1997. She’s lived in Indianapolis, Chicago, and now, Los Angeles. She recently moved from Canada to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of being an actress and dancer. She attended the Santa Barbara College of Art and Design for undergraduate studies, and on graduation, she began working as a calligrapher.
She’s got some great connections: her mother is John Hutchings, a well-known Canadian actor and director; her uncle is Yaphet Kotto, a famous indigenous performer who’s appeared in films with Yul Brynner (The Pursuit of Happyness), Michael Caine (A Christmas Carol), Marilu Henner (eds. Call Me Maybe) and Edward Ensworth (A Christmas Carol). Her grandmother, Vivianne de Menes, was a famous Canadian singer and writer, and was known for being a hippie and a vegetarian. Growing up surrounded by animals, Olivia Claire hatching was surrounded by people who surrounded themselves with animals – like her mom, whose pet dog was named Oscar. Growing up surrounded by animals definitely influenced her creativity, and later on, she made her career as an artist, painter, and performer, creating a name for herself in the world of theatre.
So it’s pretty much confirmed: Olivia Claire Hutchings is an American actor. The question now is: how did she get to be so popular in the world of theatre? Well, firstly, her amazing height which is only 2 feet, means that she wasn’t really fat when she became a child, which is great since her looks have given her the role of an adult before her years old in the acting world! She also has the presence of green eyes, which is an excellent characteristic in an adult, which makes her an even more fantastic role model for younger girls who want role models that look young, strong, and smart.
