Casey Anderson has been an internationally recognized conservationist and wildlife photographer for over 25 years. He is also a publisher and author of books on wildlife, plants and men’s health. Casey Anderson was born in segregated housing in Ohio, where he was a founding member of the Save the Wild Foundation. He is a passionate advocate of animal rights, and in his own words “ases people to care”.
The National Geographic Traveler Magazine ranked Casey Anderson as one of the 50 Most Exotic Places to Visit in the world. His travels have taken him all around the globe, visiting and photographing exotic locations including Patagonia, Africa, South America, Alaska, the Galapagos, Hawaii and even Russia. His images have been displayed in Naturalistas: A Guide to Photography, written by Dr. Stephen Fulder, a professor at San Francisco State University. The book won the Traveler’s Choice Book of the Year and was chosen as one of the 100 most influential books of the year. His images have been seen on National Geographic, CNN, National Geographic Traveler, The New York Times, National Geographic Television, All Inclusive Travel, Save the Wild, Outside Magazine, The Barnes & Noble Bookstore, Shape, and numerous other publications.
Casey Anderson brings an engaging writing style to his photographs, which include a passion for nature and wildlife photography. His firm love of animals and plants has allowed him to document and photograph the natural world with flair and enthusiasm. A native of Toledo, Ohio, Anderson has travelled extensively to document the natural habitats of all types of animals and plants. As a professional photographer, he has been granted many honors, including fellowships from the American Society of Mammalogists, the College of Wildlife Medicine and the National Academy of Sciences. He has worked and lived in a number of beautiful locations around the United States and on two separate occasions, traveled to Russia. He has been awarded a number of awards for his nature photography.
