The wide array of cycling socks available to provide cyclists with a wide range of options for the bike’s sole and most sensitive areas of the foot. This article examines Stance Cycling Socks, their origin, how they can enhance your performance and what styles of cycling socks are currently on the market.

Stance cycling socks originated in Japan, specifically targeting the competitive athletics of amateur road racers. They were created by the Japanese-based company named Fujimex. In addition to their socks, the company produces a line of clothing, including shorts, vest, jacket and track suits. While they do primarily target the male market, their products are sold around the world by numerous retailers such as HOMF, Tesco and Asics. In fact, their clothing lines for women are currently the top selling biking product category on the HOMF website.

The primary driving force behind Stance’s creation was the need to address the needs of sprinters, who needed shoes that responded and flexed while running, but who did not want to sacrifice flexibility and performance when doing so. The answer to this problem came in the form of stretchable materials and the clever design of the flexible sock liner. The liner, made from soft silicone, is designed in a way to quickly stretch to accommodate and mold to the contours of a sprinter’s foot while still providing adequate support. This, in turn, makes it much easier to run with a pair of these rather than trying to squeeze into a pair of shoes with a thin rubber liner.
