Since the early 1990’s there has been a consistent, South Korean fashion trend where women prefer bright, bold patterns with bright colors. From large, romantic ruffle blouses to high-heeled, skinny-legged shoes. Fashion trends from Korea have always been dictated by necessity rather than preference. Now that many women want to be seen in fashionable, trendy clothes, Korean fashion trends are not going away any time soon.

One of the most popular South Korean fashion trends right now is, of course, the denim shorts. The look is cool, and really at home for any type of winter, especially when paired with a cute blazer or layered over a nice cardigan. If you want to wear something a little more edgy, try a brightly colored kimono shirt that matches your denim shorts. You could also wear a plaid shirt under your karate belt and match your belt with a denim blazer or other appropriate blazers. Kimono’s look great with a pair of pleated pants or a short skirt as well.

Another one of the classic Korean fashion trends for men is, of course, the typical preppy look. Korean men are known to dress in a comfortable, casual wardrobe that is often paired with a comfortable, loose-fitting kite skirt, black or gray cargo pants, and/or a stylish, dark sweater. Korean men also like to wear preppy handbags, as well as baseball caps, sports jerseys, and even wristbands. Preppy jewelry is popular, too, and includes cute earrings and watches. In the winter, it is very common to wear a light sweater and a good pair of jeans inside a leather or wool jacket. Korean men are known to go out in a preppy outfit alone or with a buddy or two.
