Sock Heights

You may have heard all the talk about socks, but you still may not know exactly what they are or what their purpose is. Many people don’t realize that socks serve many different purposes in fashion, although they are most often thought of as just socks. In fact, there are more than fifty different rock types on the market today and more are coming out every year. Socks are meant to be worn under clothes for comfort and added warmth, but they can also be used for style, for accents, or to change the way you look altogether.

On average, most men found that a mid calf to mid-calf height is around nine to eleven inches long from the toe to the top of your ankle. They offer you a bit more coverage than a high crew sock, probably because midcalf height is usually one of the more standard men’s dress shoe heights. The most popular crew sock heights are around mid calf to six inches, and then again these are great for business casual and for wearing underneath jackets. Midcalf to twelve inches is another popular option, and some might suggest a full calf, but again, this is more for athletic wear. If you have concerns about being able to get shoes on with pants, then a mid to full calf height is probably best for everyday wear.

When it comes to what you should wear with your socks, there are actually some definite trends that you need to be on the lookout for. For instance, no-show socks, sometimes called no-show socks, are extremely popular now-a-days, and it has almost become a staple fashion statement for both men and women to wear these no-show socks. These are essentially the same as a no-show jacket, but they slip underneath your pants, so that you show no part of your legs and you still have protection from the weather. Some people also wear these with leggings and jeans, which are a cool way of tricking people that you’re not wearing any type of socks, and it really doesn’t even matter.
