Shop NDSS – A Fundraising Program That Cares and Benefits Those With Down Syndrome

Making a purchase through one of Shop NDSS authorized partners will support NDSS! as they assist individuals with Down syndrome in buying the products that they need. John s Crazy Socks donates 10% of the retail price of each pair of their Down syndrome socks as a donation for the National Down Syndrome Society. The organization also receives funds through donations from manufacturers, promoters and retailers. Retailers donate their profits for this reason, because they get tax write offs when they sell products bearing the NDSS stamp. The cost is much lower for the companies than it would be for an individual to contribute funds.

NDSS! also has a JCS Buddy Walk fundraiser and 10% from each pair of Crazy socks will go back to NDSS for the benefit of the National Buddy Walk program. The Buddy Walk program gives people with developmental disabilities the opportunity to walk with their friends and family for the first month, as well as providing millions of dollars in free social service each year. Shop NDSS! partners with several organizations that are involved in the promotion of the program and have been assisting individuals with Down syndrome with their needs for over twenty years now.

In addition to making a donation to support the NDSS cause, supporters of Shop NDSS! can show their support by wearing crazy socks when they attend a NDSS! fundraising program. This includes but is not limited to, a local, regional, national or global fundraiser.
