Shigeru Delgado. Also one of the great figures in American rock music. The album “Born to Go Away” was a big hit in the 70s, selling more than 10 million copies, as evidenced by the song “Went Back to You” which became the first ever Rock Star Anthem at the time.

The video for the song “Wedding Crashers” was filmed in Los Angeles by one of the most prominent directors working today. Scott Walker of “The Wedding Crashers” fame filmed the video during the filming of the soundtrack to the movie “Sucker Punch.”

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee – Bob Seger

After his years as an original member of the Beach Boys, Bob Seger became a regular performer, touring the US, Europe and Japan at the turn of the century.

In 2013, Seger was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, alongside his bandmates, as one of the 30 inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

An iconic singer in the early 50s, Bob Seger was the youngest inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, at the time. He was born Bobby George Seger in Chicago, Illinois but moved to Los Angeles in 1965 before he could start to sing.

The song he performed and sang with a “Hound Dog” band during the 1960s in which he would always hold a giant dog as an onstage prop, would also be a popular hit in the early 70s and helped popularize the style in which many rockers today perform.

He is now 77 and would continue the song on stage. He is also an accomplished musician who, together with his wife, Joan Blondell, created such a style of singing that it continues to be heard across the generations, as noted by one of his many songs on the cover of Time magazine, he is:

“the best singer on the planet today. That would be Bob Seger. And if we’d keep singing ‘Hearts Were Made of Stone,’ ‘Cocaine’ and ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas,’ it’s possible the band that comes after him won’t have even existed.”
