In order to assess your ethnicity or nationality, you will be asked to complete two separate, yet compatible and important forms. These are the Nationality / Ethnicity questions and the Partner question. You will be expected to have your name, date of birth and address when you take the first form but once you have completed the questionnaire you can then check your answers online.
The Nationality question is an extremely simple one and there is only one option to select ‘American’ for it. Once you have replied you will then be asked if you consider yourself to be British, Irish, Polish, Filipino, Kenyan, Indian, Pakistani, Chinese or some other national identity, which we will explain shortly. The second question that you will be required to answer is a one-minute one-liner relating to your nationality. This is often used on dating sites to assess the interest of a potential partner in you as a person, but can also be used in a work environment to identify interests and abilities.
The Partner question is very different to the usual questions on ethnicity and nationalities as it is purely a question about your sexual partner(s). Your partner’s nationalities and ethnicities are irrelevant to this question and you will not be expected to provide any information relating to your partner’s heritage or family tree. However, if you find yourself attracted to someone and you would like more information regarding their family or ethnic background, simply enter their name into the ‘age & partner type’ input box at the Ansley Minor website and you will instantly obtain all details about the potential partner including their parent’s names, places of birth, siblings and so forth.
