Sandra Ringler was a character actor known for her long and illustrious career that spanned parts of four decades. Her notable roles include herself in “A Woman in Waiting”, “Get Smart”, “Beverly Hills Cop”, “E.T.” and “The Perfect Score” with Richard Castellano. Her marriage to George Taylor turned out to be a good one as he provided the financial support that enabled Sandra to move to New York City and pursue her acting career. At the same time, however, they were not in a stable relationship and split up after fifteen years of marriage. Although George has said that the separation was necessary in order for Sandra to come to terms with her own identity, this did not seem to bother her at all as she moved into her role of “The Golden Girl” in the second “Golden Compass” movie.

Despite being married to one of Hollywood’s best actors, Sandra still maintained a very independent character and it was rare for her to look askance at an American man. The only instance when she expressed any form of jealousy towards her American husband was when he proposed to have a holiday together while they were residing in California. When George expressed this idea, Sandra immediately retorted that she was not interested in a vacation or getting away from her husband. In fact, even when asked if she was dating another American, Sandra answered in an uncomplimentary manner, “No, no – just working on my acting.”

Even as an aging woman, Sandra still looks very good despite her age. However, it is evident from the numerous Cologne ads for her that her passion for life still drives her to maintain her physique even as she ages. As such, Sandra is a perfect example of how people do not necessarily change as they age but rather, their interests and passions remain the same irrespective of the changes taking place in their bodies. Whether it is her Nationality or her looks or her profession that holds the key to her success, Sandra clearly embodies the success of being an adaptable, independent female even as she ages.
