When we think of Giulia Petrungaro, one thinks of a character in the novel Eat, Pray Love who is a young model and actress. We also think of her having the height of an adult and her accent and voice similar to Julia Child. We don’t think of her being the archetypal model’s role. But in reality, Giulia was one of the original models to come out of Milan and is one of the most popular today. The name of the company she is currently affiliated with is RGC.
As a former model, Giulia Petrungaro has definitely mastered the art of posing. The sixties and seventies were when she became famous and was in print for the first time. Her first job was working for photographer Mario Puzo in Rome. They worked on several campaigns together, one of which was for Yves Saint Laurent. During the late sixties, Giulia began working with photographer Bettie Page. She appeared in many of her famous shoots, such as Those Of You That Have Loved.
