R Isabela had a modest beginning as a housekeeper in Buenos Aires during the 1920s. Her occupation was dedicated to cooking and she gained sufficient experience in this field in a few years. She married a wealthy Spanish merchant and retired to live with him in La Rioja, overlooking the Sea of Cortez. But her aspirations for political freedom and international success kept growing. She joined the FRAC (Fuerterior Arrachea Nacional) and the ARRE (Arrivederos del Redentaz) in its struggle against reactionaries.

R Isabela’s loyalty to FRAC ensured that her name remained high in the history of the struggle. In her birth town of San Juan de Las Aguas, she picked up a weapon and fought alongside Generals Uribe and Maradona against the British. After the war, R Isabela moved to Uruguay where she established a medical residency. In 1950 she crossed the Atlantic to settle in New York and joined the anti-Vietnam War movement. She travelled to Argentina but eventually settled in Uruguay and has been living there ever since. Her political writings are focused on social issues and concerns relating to nutrition, child labor, and immigration.

The subject of R Isabela’s writing is wide and varies. Some of her major subjects include immigration, politics, the media, and nutrition. Other topics include the size of the male sex organ and the definition of nationalities. Height and nationality issues seem to be on the tip of every writer’s tongue and it’s no wonder that R Isabela’s books sell like hot cakes. Her writing style contains a touch of wit but her main purpose is to stimulate thought.
