She is considered as one of the most successful and creative business woman of the 21st century. Her international success has made her the founder and president of Girvan International, a company that deals in the business of fashion.
Age: At the age of 48, Girvan qualified as a consultant for a renowned international company. From this experience, she gained knowledge about the different nationalities in Europe. In her previous work experiences, she analyzed the differences between various nationalities with respect to their dressing codes. After completing this important research, she decided to develop her own design concept. As such, she designed clothing that would fit different nationalities.
Partner: Even as she continued in her business, Girvan pursued her studies at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, specializing in fashion design. There, she honed her skills on apparel design, which earned her the nickname “le Cordon Bleu Lady.” She then became an assistant to a well-known couturier before she ventured out on her own. Through this extensive study and practice, she was able to perfect the various aspects of dressmaking, and she eventually launched her own fashion line.
