Anna Calvi, the model and actress known worldwide, has built a portfolio consisting of many iconic images, including a very well know calendar styled image, titled: My Year in Review, which was released in 2021. She has appeared in numerous Hollywood films including Rain Main (which she was attached to at one point), Grumpy Old Men and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. However, one of her most well-known images is that of the height mistress known as Olga Polivka in the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Though it took nearly nine years for the film to be made, it still managed to become a box office smash, earning more than $1 billion worldwide, and remains the highest-grossing movie of all time. Since its release, Anna has appeared in a number of high profile advertisements for lingerie, as well as being nominated for an Academy Award for Best Music Video.
Height Defying, a production by Anna Calvi and her longtime friend and companion Danyell Mailhouse, will be shown in theaters by New Regency Pictures and Universal Pictures, with a planned release date of fall of 2021. This picture will star Anna and Danyell as a pair of Broadway dancers who rise to stardom following their dramatic victory at the Miss World Competition held in Moscow in 1998. The movie posters, which depict two women on the Broadway stage, have been shown in various movie trailers and commercial campaigns, including one produced by Danyell Mailhouse and titled: “The Height Defying”, which featured Mailhouse as a ballet dancer alongside Anna. Additionally, Danyell has also been seen in the TV series “Moby” and “UCB” for Maxim, among others.
Calvi is currently filming the second installment of her live-in-paradise romance drama, titled Anna and Danyell. The film, which also includes Edie Falco and Nicolette Sheridan, is expected to star Anna Console, Edie Falco, and Nicolette Sheridan as Danyell and Anna, respectively. The movie’s storyline revolves around a powerful political figure who lives in Manhattan and his wife, Estelle, who he takes a very strong romantic interest in. Both women are major political players in the New York political scene, and if it does well, it could end up playing at the Emmys.
