Angelica Bongiovonni is a professional dancer from the Czech Republic. Born and raised in Brno, Bongiovonni first learned to dance at age four from her grandmother. After high school, she pursued a degree at university inuro but quickly left to pursue an acting career. She joined the cast of “La Familia” as a ring dancer and did not receive any notice from theatre directors.
Angelica Bongiovonni attended the Czech Republic’s National Theatre, which produced one of her most famous lines, “borsete,” which later appeared in the movie “Jesus of Nazareth.” She then moved on to taking classes at Le Cordon Bleu, where she earned a degree in Theatre and Design. There, she worked with some of the most notable designers in Europe, including Christopher Lee. Bongiovonni then spent three years studying Dance Acting at the Conservatory School of Arts in London, which she then pursued in Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. It was here that she honed her skills as an actress, with such roles as appearing in the musical “Hamlet” as well as the film “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street.”
Bongiovonni is now in post-production on her first feature, a film entitled “Kontact.” She is scheduled to appear in the film alongside Helena Bonham Carter, Dan Fogler, and Jeff Daniels. Her national stage resume will also feature appearances on Broadway, where she has had a lengthy career, and in regional theaters throughout England, Scotland, and Ireland.
