“Nationality and Partner’s Height and Age Difference” by Emma Block. This book details a case study from Nationality, a photographer, and her search for love within a gay-dominated environment. It is a fun read about a woman who looks different than her friends, but still manages to have a positive attitude about love and commitment. It was my first Emma Block book and I enjoyed it very much. I think most people who read this book will get a kick out of it and think the same way. It’s a great little book about an interesting subject.

Nationality and Partner’s Height and Age Difference give a detailed account of how Nationality came to be the way it is, with a side trip into how Nationality affects your partner’s perception of you and how your perception of them affects your relationship. It’s a great little book about the inner workings of how relationships work. I liked that the author writes in the third person and makes you feel like you are talking directly to someone in their life, which makes you feel more connected to the person. In addition, the visual aspect of the writing is what really gets me going. It draws me in and makes me think, which is exactly what I like.

There was a thing about Nationality that made me interested in the subject matter, and that was her wit. I found myself laughing out loud quite a bit while reading this book, even if I normally would not pick up a book that easily. The way she writes, and the little quirks you’ll notice in her descriptions of food and fashion are always neat and add a personal touch to Nationality. Bottom line – this was a fun read, and if you enjoy humorous books, you will like “Nationality and Partner’s Height and Age Difference.” I know I do.
