One of the most fascinating things about Nationality is that it can reveal a lot about a woman’s character, talents and personality. For example, Natalia Pace, who was an actor for many years and who played opposite James Bond in numerous films, is still known to this day as one of the best Bond girls and this has further added to her legendary status. She did however have some issues in her early life and it was this that led to her being considered a national, rather than an American, actress. Despite this problem, she managed to develop her very own identity, which is reflected in her novels, plays and other media.
Looking at Noemi Pace’s career, we can see that she started off with the British film industry where she acted in some very well known films including ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s’, ‘A View To Kill’, ‘My Fair Lady’ and ‘Escape from Tambour’. However, these roles were not what made her the famous woman that she is today and it is this very career that led her to focus on writing and also acting. In fact, her very first novel was published in French and was called ‘L’Amour sans Fronti’. While this novel might not exactly be considered a success today, it remains a strong indication of her strong writing talent and even her nationality was not what held back her success.
Noemi Pace’s greatest success however was in her role as a Bond girl in the highly successful movie ‘SMERSHILEST’. This was followed by ‘For Your Eyes Only’ and ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ before her acting career took off and she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in 1996 for her role as Gwyneth Paltrow in the movie ‘ampoo’ and later for her work in the television series ‘Heroes’. No doubt then that being a Bond girl was certainly a great way to make a name for yourself and also to develop a name for your career in the film industry.
