Anna Weber was born in Ohio in 1957. She earned her first bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan and then obtained her master’s degree from the University of Minnesota. A prolific writer, Anna Weber has authored several well-known books on subjects such as national politics, labor economics, immigration, gender, health care, poverty, and public administration. She has also published numerous articles that have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Chicago Business Journal, and other publications.
We are delighted to feature Anna Weber’s poetry in our fourth issue. This is the second poetry collection of her that we have launched. Our first volume, Voice of Conscience, profiled two women from our community who have made significant contributions to the Nation. Anna Weber’s poems, “The Rose of Forever,” and “Voice of Hope” will be appearing in issue 2. Please consider all this.
In Anna Weber’s case, a Ph.D. dissertation, examining national origins, ethnicity, and national identity in the United States, examines 6 prominent ethnic and cultural groups with great insight. The book examines the history and literature of each group and examines the role that race or ethnicity plays in US society. Anna Weber uses a unique combination of personal writing and interpretive research to present the meaning of her research. We are very pleased with Anna’s work and believe that readers will find much that they can relate to and enjoy. Her analyses are clear, detailed, and thought-provoking. We are confident that Anna Weber’s writings and analyses will serve as a model for students, professionals, and scholars who are engaged in similar research projects in the future.
