Nationality – A Case of Bad Luck?

Emmy Dougall is a famous singer/actor/writer who had two national tours in the seventies under her belt. She is forty years old now, but still looks young and sassy, which is kind of difficult to look at when looking at old photos of her. We can only speculate on whether she tried to hide her age or if people just didn’t want to see her as she was when she was younger.

What we do know is that once Nationality waived her final national contract with Disney she was free to pursue whatever career she wanted, even pursuing acting where it wasn’t always popular. But when it came to singing, particularly Nationality’s first hit “Blue Moon of Kentucky,” was she working with an artist who was half her size? Why would she be working with a man who was less than a half size too? Wasn’t Nationality a supermodel type of woman anyway? In fact, Nationality claims that she never really dated a man less than six foot in height, though it is unlikely that any of the numerous men that worked with her ever thought of impregnating her.

So is Nationality a victim of bad luck or is there more to the story than what we have been told? Does it really matter? I don’t think so. What matters most is whether or not Nationality can sing and act and how her professional life as a singer and actress pans out for her in her later years.
