Natasha Zubair, a Bollywood actress, was recently selected as the Miss World Bride and was also conferred with the nationality of Natasha. While most of the Bollywood actresses are given the nationality of their birth countries, and then they are called by the name of their profession, Natasha is different. She was born as Natalia Zubair in Moscow and grew up as a product of a Russian family. It is said that she is not very close to her birth country, but the story goes that her very good grades in school were rejected by several Indian institutes and so, she left to pursue her acting career in London.

Though, she is not really tall but still she looks much older than her actual age. The reason of her stunted growth is yet unknown but it is assumed that she has thyroid deficiency. The other contributing factor is that her parents sent her to St. John’s College, a boarding school for girls where she was supposed to concentrate on her acting career and not on her studies. Though, she had started to show some interest in theatre and other theater activities in later years, but she never pursued any of these because of her strained relations with her family.

During the course of the interview, she disclosed that she never liked heights and always thought of climbing them but it was not possible for her to do so. She confided that she always felt low at different heights even though she was a tall woman. The only thing that she could do was keep trying to work on her talent and be proud of it. After all, she had been chosen as a world champion swimmer and won the gold medal at the 1996 Olympics. Even her award proved that there was something in her but still, she was not ready to marry a Pakistani or a UAE national and rather considered herself to be British first. She did not want to marry a man from Arab race and as she was told by some people that the passport rules allow dual citizenship and so, she might become a British citizen too while still being a national of Pakistan.
