โ€œAll human beings are born free and equal and have certain inalienable rights. Some rights apply to all and some apply only to a few.

This is the first draft of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which is to be adopted by a number of nations. It is entitled Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). This is what is being proposed for the UK after the UK has left the EU.

This is the UNโ€™s interpretation of what rights apply to all human beings. Our position is that the UN is wrong on this pointโ€ฆ but it is up to this UK to deal with it on a European basisโ€.
